TOTCF’s Espresso Martini competition returns
By Miona MadsenTales of the Cocktail Foundation (TOTCF)’s Espresso Martini competition, Good, Clean Fun, will make a comeback this year.

Throughout February 2025, TOTCF invites bartenders in the US to participate in local competitions and demonstrate their skills in crafting Espresso Martinis.
The competition, sponsored by Absolut Vodka and Kahlúa, challenges bartenders’ speed and precision as they are tasked with crafting four Espresso Martinis ‘cleanly and quickly’.
At each local competition, bartenders will wear a white T-shirt, step behind a bar station and race against the clock to craft Espresso Martinis using Absolut Vodka, Kahlúa and espresso.
Precision is key, as time penalties will be applied for spills or stains.
The 10 fastest and cleanest bartenders from each local event will advance to the East or West Regional Championships.
The top three fastest regional finalists will win a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Absolut Akademi in Sweden for an immersive training experience.
The fourth fastest finalists from each region will receive a trip to the 23rd annual TOTC conference in New Orleans from 20-25 July 2025.
More information about the competition can be found on the Good, Clean Fun Competition website and on TOTCF’s social media platforms.
Earlier this month, TOTCF opened nominations for the 19th annual Spirited Awards and welcomed Charlotte Voisey as its new executive director.
