Blended Blue Tequila names California distributor
Luxury agave spirits brand Blended Blue Tequila has appointed Freebrook Imports as its importer and distributor in the Golden State.
The appointment follows the brand’s launch with its Maravilla añejo and reposado blend earlier this month.
Created by former Clase Azul México board member Charles Durazo and vice-president of manufacturing Alberto Orozco, Blended Blue is described as the ‘first’ luxury agave spirit brand in the US to build a portfolio exclusively around Tequila blends.
CEO Durazo said: “We are more than excited to work with industry veteran Adam Spiegel and his team over at Freebrook. He is the first of many new-breed distributors that have arisen from the ashes of RNDC.”
Freebrook offers comprehensive services including warehousing, delivery, data management, invoicing and collections, as well as fractional sales personnel in select metro areas.
Currently, the California-based importer and distributor collaborates with around 30 brands across various categories of spirits.
Freebrook Imports CEO Adam Spiegel commented: “We are excited to be a point of focus for new emerging brands that don’t have tremendous marketing budgets or the internal infrastructure to succeed across the three tiers.”
Blended Blue Tequila Maravilla is now available in California at select markets, including Los Angeles, San Francisco and Sacramento.
