SB Advent: Cygnet Gin
Get ready to wrap last-minute presents with a glass of Cygnet Welsh Dry Gin in hand, or gift a bottle to your loved ones.
Perfect as a Christmas stocking filler, main gift, or a toast to the new year, Cygnet Gin brings elegance to any party.
Co-founded in 2023 by classical singer Katherine Jenkins OBE and artist and filmmaker Andrew Levitas, Cygnet Gin was born from the desire to break the mould in a traditionally male-dominated industry and channel Jenkins’ and Levitas’ passion for sustainability.
The Welsh dry gin is made with 12 botanicals, including almond, cardamom, lime peel, liquorice, orange peel, camomile flower, lemon peel and pink grapefruit. In addition to the flagship expression, Cygnet offers a 22 Gin made with 22 botanicals, including Manuka honey, bee pollen, lemon balm, sea salt, rose petals, hibiscus and heather. Cygnet gins are presented in elegantly designed bottles to encourage repurposing and reduce waste, reflecting the brand’s sustainable ethos.
In its first full year on the market, the brand was recognised with several industry accolades, including two Gold medals at The Gin Masters 2024 and a Silver medal for the canned G&T at The Pre-Mixed, RTD & Hard Seltzer Masters 2024. The brand’s ready-to-drink (RTD) gin and tonic secured listings with Tesco and Co-op stores in Wales this year.
The Cygnet gins have expanded their distribution this year, and can now be found at Marks & Spencer (M&S) and Fortnum & Mason. The brand also partnered with Argentinian restaurant group Gaucho to create a cocktail, Sexy Fish to create an exclusive cocktail menu, and Lavo restaurant and Double Dutch in London to open a summer garden terrace.
Earlier this month, ex-Campari CEO Matteo Fantacchiotti joined Cygnet Gin as a partner and chairman.
