Lavo opens summer terrace with Cygnet Gin
By Miona MadsenTao Group Hospitality-owned Lavo restaurant in London has partnered with Cygnet Gin and mixer brand Double Dutch to open a summer garden terrace.

The coastal-themed summer garden is inspired by Mediterranean Italian coastlines. It offers a specially curated summer cocktail menu courtesy of Cygnet Gin, co-founded by singer Katherine Jenkins OBE, and Double Dutch, inspired by the scents and flavours of the Amalfi Coast.
Ranging from £15-£22 (US$19-$29), signature cocktails include the Italian 75, blending Cygnet Welsh dry gin with hibiscus, Acqua di Cedro, raspberry and Champagne, the Lavo Spritz, a mix of Cygnet Welsh dry gin, Doladira Aperitivo, jasmine, grape and Double Dutch Cucumber & Watermelon Mixer, and the Gimlet showcasing Cygnet 22 gin with lychee, lemon, elderflower, honey and basil.
Double Dutch mixers are also seen in the Sunset Spritz, which combines Decem 10%, Crossip Fresh, Amaro Santoni, and Double Dutch Indian tonic, and the Pentire Spritz, which blends Double Dutch’s grapefruit soda with Pentire Coastal Spritz.
Lavo also hosts an aperitivo hour every Wednesday from 5pm-7pm, during which guests are treated to £15 cocktails and complimentary canapés, including wild mushroom arancini and the ‘iconic’ Lavo meatball.
The Italian restaurant at The BoTree, 34 Marylebone Lane, London, opened in September 2023 during Fashion Week. Toa Group Hospitality, the company behind Hakkasan and Yauatcha, also owns Lavo restaurants in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Diego and Singapore.
Earlier this year, Cygnet Gin partnered with Marks & Spencer and created a cocktail with Argentinian restaurant group Gaucho to support veterans.
