The awards recognise excellence in four categories

The V d’Or Awards celebrates the most innovative and sustainable initiatives that address challenges in the world of wine and spirits.

“The V d’Or Awards are the tangible expression of Vinexposium’s commitment to a sustainable and responsible global wine and spirits sector, which symbolises excellence and the preservation of our terroirs for future generations,” said Rodolphe Lameyse, CEO of Vinexposium.

Potential candidates must submit their applications by 27 October. Projects presented must have been implemented, announced, or have achieved significant results after 1 January 2023.

The competition is free to enter and open to all wine and spirits professionals – producers, brands, marketing boards, agencies, and suppliers of dry goods and services – worldwide.

Entries will be judged by the V d’Or panel of international professionals and experts, and the winners will be announced on 9 February 2025, ahead of the official opening of Wine Paris 2025. Entrants do not have to exhibit at Wine Paris to be eligible.

The V d’Or Awards recognises excellence in four categories.

The Best Sustainability award will be given to an organisation, group, individual, company, brand, winery, or distillery that provides one or more innovative solutions to meet the environmental challenges facing the wine and spirits sector.

The Best Education & Knowledge Sharing V d’Or recognition will be awarded for providing a programme or a scheme committed to mentorship, education and skills transfer within the world of wine and spirits.

The Best Digital Strategy prize will celebrate the execution of a high-performance digital strategy that reaches new audiences or taps into new markets.

The Best New Product Strategy V d’Or will be given to a brand, winery or distillery rolling out an innovative strategy aimed at a new product launch that responds to changing consumer tastes.

The inaugural winners of The Vinexposium Business Awards, V d’Or, included Tastee by Winespace, Mallard Point Gin, The Old Vine Registry by The Old Vine Conference, and Creation Wines.

Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2024, renamed Wine Paris in July 2024, took place from 12-14 February this year. The event hosted a record-breaking 4,000 exhibitors from 48 countries.
