Vinexpo Paris sees international interest soar
By Melita KielyThe Be Spirits arm of Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris experienced a record 2024 event, as international visitor numbers rocketed by 92%.

Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2024 took place from 12-14 February at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in the French capital.
The Be Spirits hall, which showcased spirits, no-and-low products, beers and ciders, covered an extra 47% floor space compared with 2023.
The hall housed almost 200 exhibitors – 54% of whom were new to the show.
Be Spirits also offered a number of seminars and masterclasses throughout the three-day event, and also saw the return of the 40m-long Infinite Bar.
This year marked the fifth Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris event. Total exhibitor numbers grew to 4,074 from 48 countries. International exhibitors grew by 53%.
Visitor numbers were also up this year, as the show welcomed 14% more guests than it did in 2023.
Total visitor numbers reached 41,253 people this year, including 41% international visitors from 137 countries.
Furthermore, the show revealed it saw a 30% rise in attendance from the main buyers from key markets. The five biggest nations after France were: Italy, Belgium, the UK, the US and Germany.
The matchmaking service also resonated with attendees, helping to create appointments between 10,146 producers and buyers online.
The On! and Off! programmes were also hailed as a success, offering a selection of seminars and masterclasses.
Paul Robinson, wine director at Robinson Wine, said: “As a buyer, it is my responsibility to prioritise business appointments at Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris, but I attended two panel discussions, which I found extremely interesting. The On! programme is one of the highlights of the exhibition.”
Rodolphe Lameyse, CEO of Vinexposium, the parent company of Vinexpo Paris, shared earlier this week that the Be Spirits portion of the show would again grow in size next year – along with additional halls to incorporate growing demand for wine exhibitors.
Be Spirits will move to the larger Hall 5 in 2025, while all three floors of Hall 7 will be put to use.
