The awards give brands, companies and people doing brilliant work across the industry the chance to receive the recognition they deserve.

From product development to sustainable endeavours and up-and-coming young professionals, the awards have been designed to celebrate the best of the global spirits industry.

The awards are divided into five key areas: Retail & Marketing, Sustainability & Innovation, Culture & Tourism, Products & Brands, and People.

New to the awards this year are two trophies for Bar of the Year, one specifically for establishments in the UK, and a second for international venues.

Also new to the awards this year is a recognition for Training Initiatives, from advocacy programmes to mentorship schemes.

Entries will be accepted into The Spirits Business Awards until 26 June, via the dedicated website.

The winners will be announced during a black-tie ceremony in London, which will take place on 12 November at The Underglobe. Last year, comedian Rob Beckett presented the awards, following The Traitors host Claudia Winkleman, who announced the winners in 2024.

For those considering putting their hat into the ring, The Spirits Business recently published some important advice to consider when formulating an awards pitch.

Key considerations to take into account include specificity, not resting on assumed industry reputation, and creativity.

Melita Kiely, editor-in-chief of The Spirits Business and chair of The Spirits Business Awards, said: “We know there is a wealth of talent across the global spirits trade, and our awards are a fantastic way to celebrate the best of the best this industry has to offer.

“We’ve heard first hand how our awards have created incredible opportunities for our winners in the past – a testament to the high-calibre of award winners, and the global status of The Spirits Business Awards today.

“We are already working hard to add a new level of excitement to the celebrations at our awards ceremony later this year and we’ll be sharing full details very soon.”
