Síbín Speakeasy reveals new cocktail menu
By Miona MadsenOne of the bars at the Great Scotland Yard Hotel in London has introduced a new cocktail menu.
The new menu reflects the clandestine nature of the original speakeasies that arose in Ireland in the 17th century.
Guilherme Vieira, Great Scotland Yard bars manager, said: “Síbín is all about creating unforgettable experiences, and our new cocktail menu showcases a range of spirits that highlight rich histories and unique flavours. We invite guests to join us in this journey of exploration through our crafted cocktails.”
This menu features five signature drinks, two of which feature Tromba Tequila and Sash & Fritz vodka.
The Clandestine blends Tromba Tequila Anejo, mezcal, Champagne, elderflower, grapefruit and citrus, and is inspired by the ‘mystique of moonlight’.
The NightCup is ‘an enchanting creation that transports imbibers into a realm where reality and fantasy blur’, made with Sash & Fritz Vodka, bergamot, sakura and Seedlip.
“We are excited to see Tromba Tequila and Sash & Fritz Vodka featured on the new Síbín cocktail menu. These independent brands embody the sophistication and innovation that align perfectly with the speakeasy’s ethos,” said Nelson Bernardes, Friarwood’s spirits portfolio brands manager.
Síbín Speakeasy offers Friarwood’s full range of spirits, including Ron Carúpano rums from Venezuela and Per Se aperitivo from Portugal.
