Khadraoui succeeds Andrew Highcock in the role, who has left the company to pursue new projects.

In a statement, MBWS said: “The board of directors is grateful for the achievements accomplished by Mr Andrew Highcock since he joined the group in 2018.”

Khadraoui has worked as director of strategy and mergers and acquisitions and corporate secretary for MBWS since 2019.

MBWS said: “[Khadraoui] is ideally positioned to take on the role of CEO. Under his leadership, the group’s executive committee will continue to improve profitability and implement a growth strategy.”

Last month, French producer MBWS reported double-digit growth for the third quarter of its 2022 financial year.

The company saw reported growth rise by 18.9% in the three months to 30 September 2022, compared with the same three months in 2021.
