Mintis Gin ups Austrian distribution

Italian gin brand Mintis has secured listings with Austrian retailers Rewe and Billa Plus, expanding its market presence.

Mintis doubled its sales and is committed to expanding its global distribution. It is available in more than 27 countries worldwide, including the USDenmarkthe UK and Ukraine.

The Austrian expansion follows the brand’s success in the Polish market, where it secured listings with four retail chains earlier this year.

The range consists of four expressions: Originale, Clementine, Amarena Cherry, and Ribesa Blackcurrant.

Originale and Ribesa are now available at Billa Plus stores in Austria.

The gin is made in Piedmont in northwest Italy, using Italian mint from Pancalieri, wild Italian juniper, and local fruit and distilled in a custom-made vacuum still.

All of its expressions are 100% natural and vegan-friendly.

Stepan Stanek, co-founder of Mintis Gin, said: “We are very pleased that Mintis Gin is increasingly available in major retail chains, making it easier for customers to buy it and enjoy 100% natural taste with mint freshness.”

Last year, the brand launched a social media campaign, ‘Make this Christmas unforgettable’, led by TikTok and Instagram influencer Tery Kratoch.

At this year’s ProWein trade fair from 16-18 March, the brand will showcase its range at stand C38 in Hall 7.

The Spirits Business will play a major role at this year’s ProWein, hosting a special hub featuring tastings, lectures and a focus on innovation.
