Templeton lands in the UK
Infinium Spirits has partnered with BBB Drinks to launch its Templeton whiskey portfolio in the UK, including on Amazon.
In partnership with the Perfect Serve sales agency, BBB Drinks will work with the Infinium team to launch Templeton into the UK off-trade and on-trade.
Phil Harding, founder of BBB Drinks, commented: “It’s very exciting for us to be in a unique partnership with Infinium and Perfect Serve. We believe the Templeton range will be a great success in the UK market due to the price positioning vs quality.”
The UK launch follows Infinium Spirits’ ambitious expansion throughout Europe this year. The producer sees the UK as a priority market.
Victor Kujawski from the international commercial team at Infinium Spirits said: “We are delighted to enter the UK market with Templeton. The UK is a very important market in the American whiskey category, where we will be able to develop our multi-award-winning brand in different channels, starting with Amazon for our rye whiskey range and our new releases Fortitude Bourbon and Midnight Rye.”
According to Kujawski, BBB Drinks was the company’s first partner choice: “We chose BBB as our UK partner for its knowledge of the market and experience in building brands. It also has a great team, and we believe it is the perfect choice for Templeton.”
San Diego-based Infinium Spirits opened its Iowa whiskey distillery in 2018. The facility includes a visitor centre, museum, and bottling plant.
The distillery houses pot and column stills by Forsyth.
In November this year, Templeton launched a new straight rye flagship expression, which honours the brand’s Prohibition roots.
