Next month (May), The Global Spirits Masters Competitions (The GSMC) will host The Hard Seltzer Masters 2023.

The blind-tasting competition will award Silver, Gold and Master medals to the most deserving of hard seltzer brands. The Master winners will then be retasted to determine the ‘best in class’ Hard Seltzer Taste Master 2023.

Each entry will be judged by a panel of independent spirits specialists.

The results will be published online in early June and in the June 2023 edition of The Spirits Business magazine.

Think your hard seltzer has what it takes to win? Enter before the deadline on Saturday 22 April. Samples must be received by Sunday 30 April.

Melita Kiely, editor of The Spirits Business and chair of The GSMC, commented: “Hard seltzers have really taken international markets by storm in the last couple of years.

“As a fast-growing, burgeoning category, gaining recognition in a global competition like The GSMC can be a great point of difference in an increasingly saturated sector.”
