Goslings Rum appoints new UK distributor
Paragon Brands has added Bermudian rum producer Goslings to its portfolio and will be the brand’s exclusive distributor in the UK.
From this month, Paragon Brands will assume exclusive UK distribution for the full Goslings rum range, which includes its flagship Black Seal Rum, Overproof Black Seal 151 expression, Spirited Seas Ocean Aged Rum and Family Reserve Old Rum.
Chris Jones, managing director at Paragon Brands, said: “Goslings is a brand with extraordinary heritage, a unique identity and global recognition. We aim to create the conditions for the brand to grow and reach its full potential in the UK.
“That means bringing ‘the official rum of leisure’ to more occasions and new audiences with greater focus, while staying true to what people already love about Goslings.
“It’s a natural fit alongside our existing portfolio and allows us to build on the rum expertise we have developed with our existing partner Pusser’s.”
Goslings will now have access to Paragon’s nationwide, multi-channel distribution in the UK, as well as expert on-trade and off-trade activations.
Bermuda-born Goslings was founded in 1806 and has a claim to fame in being the base for the original Dark ‘N’ Stormy cocktail.
The brand also claims the status of being ‘the official rum of leisure’, having been served as the official rum for golf tournaments the 2025 Ryder Cup and the upcoming 2026 PGA Championship.
The Goslings range has ready-to-drink, ginger beer, and tonic water ranges designed around the Dark ‘N’ Stormy.
The brand’s export director, Max Abbott, added: “Paragon Brands demonstrated a clear understanding of what Goslings stands for and our belief that rum should be about pleasure, quality and time well spent.
“Every expression in the Goslings range is rooted in that belief, from our signature Black Seal Rum to our aged rums and our Goslings Stormy Ginger Beer, each designed to invite people to slow down and enjoy the moment.”
UK-based, Paragon Brands also distributes Żubrówka, Licor 43, Anne Bonny, Caleño, Pusser’s Rum and Martin Miller’s in the UK market.
