Paragon Brands is aiming to ‘shake up the UK market’ with the Zamora partnership

Zamora’s products include Martin Miller’s Gin, Yellow Rose American Whiskey and its flagship brand, Spanish liqueur Licor 43 – which passed one million nine-litre cases sold for the first time in November.

It was previously distributed by Amber Beverage UK (formerly known as Cellar Trends).

Chris Jones, managing director at Paragon Brands, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Zamora Company and its portfolio of premium spirits. At Paragon Brands, we thrive on partnering with premium and distinctive brands, offering UK consumers a unique experience in an ever-evolving market.

“Given their recent success and growth, Zamora’s catalogue of prestigious products has clearly struck a chord with consumers. This exceptional family of premium brands showcases their masterful blend of rich flavours, natural ingredients, and storied traditions.

“This perfectly aligns with our portfolio of pioneering brands, united by quality, substance, and a rich story to tell. We look forward to shaking up the UK market together.”

Besides brands from Spain-based Zamora Company, Paragon has also recently taken on distribution for Żubrówka Vodka and singer Bob Dylan’s whiskey, Heaven’s Door.

“Zamora Company has over 70 years of experience of selling and marketing top-quality products around the world, and we look forward to Paragon Brands helping us,” added Jeremy Rockett, area manager UK and Republic of Ireland at Zamora Company.

“As Chris says, shake up the market a bit, and find our place in both at-home and on-premise consumption.”

In other Zamora news, the company appointed ex-Bacardi executive Blanca de la Infiesta as its global spirits marketing director in November,

Later on in the year Zamora will release an ultra-premium Tequila, Volteo, with investment from NFL star Dak Prescott.
