Ex-Gucci exec is new Rémy Cointreau US & Canada CEO
By Miona MadsenRémy Cointreau has appointed Christophe de Pous as its new CEO for the US and Canada, and as a member of the group executive committee.

The appointment of de Pous was officially announced on LinkedIn on 4 February 2026.
Rémy Cointreau said de Pous possesses a unique combination of strategic vision, brand-building expertise, and a deep understanding of premium consumer markets.
De Pous has more than 30 years of experience in senior positions across the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and fashion industries.
He has served as president and CEO of Gucci for the Americas and Japan and is a founding member of Meaningful Partners.
Most recently, he was president of the American division of the fashion label Tory Burch.
The official announcement stated: “His [de Pous] international experience and leadership mindset will be invaluable as we continue to elevate our maisons, strengthen our US and Canada footprint, and accelerate our long-term ambitions across this strategic region, which represents a major pillar of our growth.
“Christophe’s energy and commitment to excellence make him the ideal leader to guide our teams and partners into this next chapter of our transformation. We are confident he will make a significant impact and work with us to shape the next steps of our journey.”
De Pous joins Rémy Cointreau less than a year after Franck Marilly was appointed group CEO, following the resignation of Éric Vallat in April 2025.
Despite experiencing growth in the third quarter (Q3 2024-2025), Rémy Cointreau reported a 1.9% decline in sales over the first nine months of its 2025-26 financial year.
