The Rum Lab partners with Panama Rum Fest
By Miona MadsenThe Rum Lab has established a one-year strategic partnership with Panama Rum Fest, incorporating the Central American event into its international portfolio of rum festivals and congresses.

The partnership integrates Panama Rum Fest, founded by Randolph Ascaris Sánchez, into The Rum Lab’s global network.
The trade event features tastings, seminars, and experiences showcasing both Panamanian and international rum brands, underscoring the country’s growing prominence in the premium rum market.
Federico Hernández, partner at The Rum Lab, said: “Panama has long played an important role in the global rum industry. This one-year alliance with Panama Rum Fest allows us to support the country’s rum culture while fostering meaningful connections between producers, brands and the wider international rum community.”
The collaboration aims to enhance international visibility, trade engagement, and cultural exchange within the rum sector.
The date for the fifth annual Panama Rum Fest will be announced in 2026. Traditionally, the event has been held in August.
Sánchez added: “Working with The Rum Lab is an important step for Panama Rum Fest. Their global platform and expertise will help elevate the festival’s international profile and position Panama more strongly on the global rum stage.”
Last month, The Rum Lab unveiled its 2026 schedule, including events in the US, Puerto Rico, and, for the first time, in Spain.
