Secret Garden Distillery heads to France
Scottish gin producer The Secret Garden Distillery has launched in France through a partnership with Premium Craft Spirits.

Established in 2012, The Secret Garden Distillery is located at the foot of the Pentland Hills in Edinburgh. Sisters Imogen and Isobel Armstrong took over the business in 2022.
The distillery will introduce three expressions in France: Wild, Lemon Verbena, and Summer.
Wild is described as a ‘herbaceous’ London Dry Gin made with 11 Scottish botanicals and aromatic juniper. It is best served with light tonic and a sprig of rosemary.
The ‘bright, citrus forward’ Lemon Verbena is distilled using hand-harvested lemon verbena leaves, and recommended served with a slice of lemon and a sprig of thyme.
Meanwhile, the Summer gin combines Scottish blossoms, lime and passionfruit.
Isobel Armstrong said: “We’re thrilled to be launching The Secret Garden Distillery in the French market in partnership with Premium Craft Spirits.
“The French consumer’s appreciation for quality, provenance, and craftsmanship aligns perfectly with our ‘seed to sip’ ethos – where we grow, harvest, and distil our botanicals entirely by hand to ensure only the finest ingredients make it into our gins.”
The distillery’s gin range also includes Rose, Elderflower & Jasmine, Lavender and Pinot Noir Gin, as well as its seasonal summer release and the newly branded Winter Gin.
The company also operates an adjacent 100% natural botanical garden, where it sources ingredients for its products.
In addition to gin, the distillery produces vermouth.
The company gained recognition last year after winning three Gold and three Silver medals at The Gin Masters 2024.
