The Spirits Business Awards categories span a number of key areas of the global drinks industry: Retail & Marketing, Sustainability & Innovation, Culture & Tourism, Product & Brand, and People. The deadline to enter this year’s awards is 27 June.

Last year, the Bar of the Year title was awarded to Kiki Lounge on the Isle of Man.

“We’re pretty chuffed to be sponsoring the Bar of the Year category at this year’s SB Awards,” said Adrian Lugg, head of marketing – consumer brands and B2B, Master of Malt Trade. “Great bars are where spirits come to life – where creativity, craft and community collide – something we’re super passionate about at Master of Malt Trade.

“Supporting the venues and people who shape the drinking experience is an absolute privilege. Every year, I look forward to the announcement of the Bar of the Year finalists so I can be reminded how genuinely uncool I am, and add some new destinations to my drinking bucket list.”

The Spirits Business Awards ceremony will return to The Underglobe Theatre in London on 13 November this year.

English comedian Rob Beckett has been confirmed as this year’s host.

In 2024, the inaugural black-tie awards ceremony took place at The Underglobe theatre in London, where Strictly Come Dancing presenter Claudia Winkleman announced the winners.

Melita Kiely, editor-in-chief of The Spirits Business and chair of the awards judging, said: “The calibre of entries in 2024 was incredibly high, and we were delighted to reward so many talented individuals, brands and companies for their achievements.

“I’m looking forward to judging this year’s entries, and I’ve no doubt we’ll be seeing even more examples of excellence across the spirits industry.”
