Blacklock creates B Corp cocktail menu

Steak restaurant chain Blacklock has created a cocktail menu spotlighting sustainable businesses, called A Good Tipple.

The menu has been curated by Blacklock’s head bartender Chiko and featured B Corp-certified spirits brands including Gattertop Drinks.

Blacklock became B Corp-certified in 2023. The brand said: “Becoming a B Corp is not an easy process; the bar is set high for good reason. With over 250 rigorous questions answered, every member of our team has played a vital role in enabling us to take this step to become a B Corp business.”

The A Good Tipple menu aims to shift the conversation and place B Corp-certified brands in the spotlight, giving consumers an effortless way to discover sustainable businesses.

A highlight of the menu is the Damson Martini, which is made with two of Gattertop’s expressions: No.12 Damson Liqueur and No.1 Vodka. The serve costs £9.50 (US$12).

Other cocktails on the menu include the Bee-Corp Sour, made with Sapling Raspberry & Hibiscus Vodka, and the non-alcohol Siren’s Whisper, made with Everleaf Marine and Seasn Light.

Earlier this month, Gattertop curated a cocktail menu at the 45th London Critics’ Circle Awards.

The brand was awarded B Corp status in September 2024 after achieving an assessment score of 81.9.
