Launched in 2019, The Spirits Business Awards has grown into one of the most respected awards in the global spirits industry.

The awards span five key areas of the trade: Retail & Marketing, Sustainability & Innovation, Culture & Tourism, Product & Brand, and People.

The deadline to enter is 27 June 2025.

Melita Kiely, editor-in-chief of The Spirits Business and chair of the awards judging, said: “It’s wonderful to see The Spirits Business Awards grow year on year. We know there are some incredibly talented bar groups and operators out there who deserve industry recognition.

“We’re looking for businesses that not only pour a tonne of creativity and innovation into their drinks menus, but also go above and beyond when it comes to the welfare of their customers and staff.”

For its seventh year, the awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 13 November 2025 at The Underglobe Theatre in London.

Also new for 2025 is the Tonic & Mixer Brand of the Year award.

Furthermore, the annual Alan Lodge Young International Drinks Writer of the Year Award has been brought under The Spirits Business Awards umbrella. The award looks to celebrate writers aged 35 and under from around the world, who cover any style of alcoholic beverages from spirits and wine to beer and cocktails.

Last year’s ceremony was hosted by the presenter of The Traitors and Strictly Come Dancing, Claudia Winkleman.
