SB Advent: Still G.I.N by Dre and Snoop
If there’s one spirit you need in your ho-ho-home this holiday season, it’s this slick bottle of Still G.I.N from legendary rap duo Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg.
Distilled and bottled in the US, where it is currently available at major retailers and liquor stores, this ultra-premium 42.5% ABV gin bursts with notes of tangerine, jasmine, and coriander, and offers an aromatic finish, and makes for the perfect spirit to mix into cocktails, thanks to the additional floral and spice notes that bring balance and complexity.
The launch of this spirit followed the release of canned ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail line, Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop earlier this year and, similar to how the RTD range pays homage to Snoop’s 1994 single Gin and Juice produced by Dr Dre, this gin is inspired by another song from the pair during the 90s, Still D.R.E.
If you have a friend who is particular about the bottles they exhibit on their booze shelves, this is the one to gift – who could resist displaying that honeycomb-inspired 750ml bottle for all to see?

Holiday Hive
Ingredients (serves two):
- 55ml Still G.I.N
- 90ml Laphroaig 10-year-old whisky
- 30ml Lemon juice
- 15ml Honey
Method: Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a sprig of fresh thyme.
Gin & Jingle
Ingredients (serves two):
- 55ml Still G.I.N
- 55ml Pomegranate juice
- 20ml Lime juice
- 20ml Simple syrup
- Sugar for the rim
Method: Rim a Martini glass with sugar. Shake all ingredients together with ice and then strain into your glass. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and a sprinkling of edible glitter (because it’s Christmas).
