Rosewood London appoints Andy Loudon bar director
Andy Loudon is Rosewood London’s new director of bars and will oversee the hotel’s drinks programme at the Mirror Room, The Gin Bar at Holborn Dining Room, and Scarfes Bar.
Loudon replaces Martin Siska, who departed the role in May. Siska is now director of beverage at the Atlantis in Dubai.
Originally from the UK, Loudon’s first on-trade roles were in Manchester before he moved to London and took on senior roles at 69 Colebrook Row and Satan’s Whiskers.
After travelling the world, he joined the team at the Tippling Club in Singapore as group director of bars in 2018.
He then became a creative consultant and collaborated with hospitality groups in Asia, including Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, creating concepts and menus.
Loudon said: “I am thrilled to be returning to London this summer to join the team at such an internationally renowned establishment.
“My time in Asia has given me such incredible experiences and I can’t wait to bring together everything I have learned to continue the impressive legacy of Scarfes Bar.”
The head of mixology at Scarfes Bar, Yann Bouvignies, left his post in January to oversee the opening of a new Rosewood in Amsterdam.
