Friarwood adds Seatrus Gin to its portfolio
By Rupert HohwielerWine and spirits merchant Friarwood has gained exclusive rights to import Seatrus Gin in the UK.

The gin’s botanicals include dried cedro peel, a fruit sourced from the riviera of the cedars in Calabria, Italy, which lends the spirit a ‘golden hue’ and ‘distinctive’ aroma. It is also made with purified Mediterranean sea water.
The brand’s Acqua Di Mare expression launched in November 2022 and can be found at 30 venues in London.
Nelson Bernardes, spirits portfolio brands manager at Friarwood, said: “Seatrus Gin stands out in a crowded gin market as a premium, thoughtfully crafted product. I’m impressed by the distinctive elements such as the use of cedro and purified seawater, all tied together in brilliant packaging.”
Bottled at 43% ABV, Seatrus Acqua di Mare Gin is available in the UK for £46.60 (US$58) per 700ml bottle.
Giulio Amodio, Seatrus Gin’s owner, said partnering with Friarwood was a “fantastic step” for the brand.
He added: “Their expertise in the UK market will undoubtedly amplify our presence and introduce our unique Mediterranean flavours to a wider audience. I am very excited for this journey.”
Friarwood counts Sash & Fritz Vodka, Tequila Tromba, Per Se and Ron Carúpano among its brands, as it continues to grow its premium spirits portfolio.
The company has also helped Tequila Tromba and Per Se to secure spots on the menus at London cocktail bars.
