The annual Travel Retail Beach Party will take place during the Tax Free World Association (TFWA) World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes, France, on Monday 2 October.

The party will take place at Plage & Restaurant Croisette Beach from 6.30pm to 11pm local time.

Simon Roffe, director of business development at Welsh whisky producer Penderyn Distillery, said: “Penderyn Distillery are delighted to partner with The Spirits Business again and, on this occasion, at the always popular The Spirits Business TFWA Party.

“It’s a great opportunity to relax with industry friends and colleagues and a great chance to share our award-winning single malt whiskies with everyone in such a great setting.”

Sponsor Edinburgh Gin, owned by Ian Macleod Distillers, has a portfolio comprising London Dry gins, flavoured gins, gin-based liqueurs, pre-mixed canned beverages and experimental bottlings. The brand’s award-winning Rhubarb & Ginger Gin sits at 40% ABV.

Dutch liqueurs brand De Kuyper released six ready-to-serve (RTS) drinks as part of its long-term strategy to ‘own the cocktail’ earlier this year.

Meanwhile, sponsor Three Sixty Vodka was named the fastest-growing brand in the premium vodka category in Germany earlier this year, according to Nielsen data. The brand reported 20% growth in the on-trade in 2022.

Santa Margherita Wine Group, which looks after 10 estates across Italy, saw sales surpass €260.4 million (US$276.3m) when its financial results were announced in March 2023.
