In addition to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, the brand will now also be available at Eindhoven Airport, the second-largest airport in the Netherlands, which accommodates more than seven million passengers annually

The brand’s three expressions – Dutch Dry Gin, Pink Gin, and Orange Gin – can also be found at The Hague Airport in Rotterdam, the country’s third-largest airport.

The milestone is said to represent the next step in sharing Gin 1689’s ‘heritage-rich’ spirit with a wider global audience.

Alexander Janssens and Patrick van der Peet launched the gin brand in 2018.

Gin 1689 is based on a 300-year-old recipe dating back to the time of William of Orange, honouring the deep historical roots of Dutch gin-making.

Earlier this month, the company secured a listing with spirits retailer Gall & Gall in the Netherlands for its orange-flavoured expression.
