VK partners with Schuh
Global Brands-owned VK has teamed up with footwear company Schuh to launch a limited edition bottle and competition.
The competition, being rolled out as part of The Glow Up campaign, offers 10 contestants the chance to win 12 pairs of shoes from Schuh. The retailer’s range includes New Balance and Converse, and the campaign is said to be targeting Generation Z consumers.
To enter, participants simply enter their details at www.vkofficial.com/schuhcompetition/. The competition closes on 31 July 2022.
The campaign will be promoted through Tik Tok activations, with content from dancer Tom Malone Jr as part of the campaign.
Alongside the initiative, a limited edition VK Violet flavour will be available to purchase from UK-based convenience stores. The new 700ml bottling displays a QR code, which takes consumers to the online competition through a link.
Additionally, a range of exclusive merchandise is being given out on Instagram as part of The Glow Up campaign.
The VK x Schuh competition is just one of many spirits-related contests to recently be unveiled: rye whiskey producer Whistlepig and single malt Glenfarclas recently launched cocktail competitions for bartenders.
Patrón Tequila also ventured into the footwear scene recently, partnering with John Geiger to design a pair of limited edition trainers.
