Martin Miller’s Gin hires global brand bartender
Zamora Company-owned Martin Miller’s Gin has appointed Danil Nevsky as its global brand bartender.
Hailing from Scotland and based in Barcelona, Nevsky will help to promote the gin brand across the world.
Bob Eastham, sales and marketing director at Martin Miller’s Gin, said: “When we first met Danil, we were immediately seduced by the concept of a ‘bartender influencer’ personality like his.
“Just like consumers, bartenders and mixologists want to know all about where a brand comes from and to have a full understanding of why they should serve it, so creating ‘emotional’ links is also very important, and we couldn’t imagine a better personality to help us do just this with our bartending family.”
Martin Miller’s will work with Nevsky to communicate directly with bartenders around the world both in person, and via social media.
Nevksy added: “Since my early days working in Scotland through to my job now travelling the world, preaching my view on our fabulous bartending profession to my peers, I have always appreciated the quality of relationships between people and brands.
“Martin Miller had that mad idea to create a genius gin and even before working with the team, I was so in love with the brand that I made a cocktail with Martin Miller’s Gin as I skydived out of a plane. I’m really excited about the programme that we have defined.”
The firm recently revealed a label redesign for Martin Miller’s Gin – the first in the brand’s 21-year history. The brand is a blend of English gin and Icelandic water.
Zamora Company recently entered the agave spirits sector with the addition of Mezcal San Cosme to its portfolio in the US.
Earlier this year, Zamora Company appointed Javier Pijoan as its new CEO, succeeding Emilio Restoy.
