Amber Beverage appoints new US distributor
SPI Group subsidiary Amber Beverage Group has appointed Aligned Beverage Solutions to distribute its Moskovskaya Vodka and Riga Black Balsam brands across the US.
Moskovskaya vodka is produced by Latvijas Balzams in Riga, Latvia
Launched in late 2016, New York-based wine and spirits marketing firm Aligned Beverage Solutions took over distribution of the brands earlier this week.
Moskovskaya Vodka was previously represented in the US by Stoli Group. The group currently sell three SKUs of Moskovskaya Vodka in the US, with “big potential” in the market for line extensions in the future.
Earlier this year, Moskovskaya Vodka unveiled its first limited edition bottle design as the brand celebrated 9% volume gains in 2016.
In addition, the company says it is targeting 50% gains in 2017 as it consolidates and then further expands the brand in key markets, including the Americas and the UK.
Moskovskaya Vodka and Riga Black Balsam are produced by Latvijas Balzams, part of Amber Beverage Group, at the firm’s facility in Riga, Latvia, which was first established in 1900.
