Amber Beverage Group-owned Moskovskaya Vodka has unveiled its first limited edition bottle design as the brand celebrates 9% volume gains in 2016.
Created by Lithuanian advertising agency Not-Perfect and British designer Iain Macarthur, the brand’s signature bottle shape for a short time will feature traditional eagle and bear characters inspired by Russian fairy tales.
The limited edition will be supported by a new communication strategy to better engage with consumers globally.
“By launching this first ever Limited Edition of Moskovskaya Vodka we look forward to engaging with the dedicated brands consumers around the world,” said global brand director, Renatas Alekna.
“At the same time we see a limited edition as one of the ways to enhancxc][e the visibility of the brand among the other mainstream vodkas.”
Amber Beverage has unveiled the new design as the same time as reporting a 9% volume sales uplift for the Moscovskaya brand.
In addition, the company says it is targeting 50% gains in 2017 as it consolidates and then further expands the brand in key markets, including the Americas and the UK.
Last year, Moskovskaya Vodka rolled out a ‘No Fuss’ marketing platform to position the brand as an “unpretentious vodka”.
