Deep Eddy debuts orange-flavoured vodka

Heaven Hill-owned Deep Eddy Vodka has expanded its flavoured range with the addition of a sixth expression, Deep Eddy Orange.

Deep Eddy Orange is produced with real fruit juice and Texas aquifer water

Handcrafted in small batches at the Austin-based distillery, the new expression is produced with real fruit juice and blended with Texas aquifer water.

The new vodka is described as having a “sweet, natural citrus” flavour, while on the palate it has a “smooth, refreshing taste”.

Both gluten-free and pulp-free, Deep Eddy Orange is recommended poured straight in the glass, paired with simple mixers or as a base spirit for cocktails.

“Deep Eddy Orange is an innovative approach to a very traditional flavour. True to our roots, we took great care to craft a flavour that is consistent with the brand’s personality and mixability,” said John Scarborough, president of Deep Eddy Vodka. “Our approach, as ever, uses real orange juice for a bright and fresh vodka that is delicious and easy to use.”

In addition to Orange, Deep Eddy Vodka’s portfolio is complete with five flavours including Peach, Lemon, Ruby Red Grapefruit, Cranberry and Sweet Tea.

Deep Eddy Orange is available nationwide at a suggested RRP of US$19.99 for a 750ml bottle.

In December last year, Deep Eddy Vodka confirmed plans to open a second distillery in Texas, allowing the brand to expand capacity to five million cases a year.
