Cîroc adds Summer Colada flavour to line
By Amy HopkinsDiageo has expanded its Cîroc Vodka line with the launch of a limited edition Summer Colada expression, infused with flavours of pineapple and coconut.
Cîroc Summer Colada contains pineapple, coconut and “other natural flavours”The expression also contains “other natural flavours”. It follows the launch of the core Cîroc Pineapple variant in 2014.
A new campaign inspired by Cîroc partner and rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’s “first trip to paradise” will support the launch, featuring a song called Escape: The Piña Colada Song by British-American composer and singer-songwriter Rupert Holmes.
“Cîroc is always dreaming up new ways to celebrate, and this year we wanted to do something extra special for summer,” said Combs. “Cîroc Summer Colada takes an incredible liquid with a pineapple-coconut collaboration that everyone will want to enjoy and delivers it in a special white bottle designed exclusively for the season.
“Cîroc continues to deliver the most successful flavour innovations and this will be no exception. We look forward to making Summer Colada number one.”
Cîroc Summer Colada will debut at the Coachella music festival next month during a number of sponsored events. Marketing activities will continue until the first recognised day of summer – 21 June.
