Rock Rose Gin launches new Summer Edition

Dunnet Bay Distillery, the UK’s most northerly mainland distillery, has launched a Summer Edition of its Rock Rose Gin brand.

The company first launched Rock Rose Gin in 2015 and announced in April this year that it planned to launch seasonal bottlings of the gin, starting with the Spring Edition in May.

Rock Rose Gin, produced by husband and wife team Martin and Claire Murray, features traditional and local botanicals that are hand-foraged from cliffs and forests that surround the distillery.

The brand has now unveiled its Summer Edition, featuring summer botanicals such as meadowsweet, elderflower, lemon balm and clover.

“The Summer Edition is the second gin in our seasonal collection and with Spring selling out in record time, bars and retailers will need to be quick to snap this one up,” said Martin Murray.

“We love to experiment with different botanicals, so it’s been a dream to launch the seasonal range. We know people are keen to collect the full 2016 range, with Autumn to be released in October, watch this space.”

All seasonal editions in Rock Rose’s range carry an RRP of £37.50.

In November last year, Dunnet Bay Distillery moved into the vodka category with the launch of Holy Grass Vodka.
