Danzka Vodka appoints Latin America director

The German owner of Danzka Vodka has appointed a regional director for Latin America and the Caribbean as it underlines its commitment to the area.

Tito Gonzalez joins Danzka Vodka-owner Waldemar Behn as regional director for Latin America and Caribbean

Ricardo “Tito” Gonzalez joins Waldemar Behn with 15 years experience in the spirits industry, most recently as category director for Crupo Wisa in Panama, but he also worked as area manager Latin America for the V&S Spirits Company, which then owned Danzka.

Based in Latin America, Gonzalez will focus on promoting Danzka Vodka, Dooley’s Toffee Liqueur and the rest of Waldemar Behn’s spirits portfolio in the region, as well as establish relationships with regional distributors.

Torben Vedel Andersen, global sales director, said: “This is the third time in his career that Tito is working with Danzka Vodka over the past 10 years. He worked with me at V & S Sprits when it owned Danzka, and again at Group Belvedere’s Imperial Brands, when it owned Danzka. He has a deep understanding of the history and marketing of the brand.”

The group will be exhibiting at IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas on 22-25 March at booth #223, where it will be showcasing latest NPD, Danzka Apple.
