Danzka unveils first flavoured vodka in 10 years
Danzka Vodka will launch its first flavoured expression in 10 years at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes next month.
Danzka Apple Vodka will be launched at TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes in October
Danzka Apple will be the first new flavour from the brand since the release of Cranraz, adding to Danzka’s existing portfolio including Citrus, Currant and Grapefruit.
“Danzka Apple is very important for us,” commented Waldemar Behn GmbH managing director Rüdiger Behn.
“Danzka apple is not a flavour that was developed because we have to come up with something new; it was developed because we see a real request for apple.
“We are going to the root of basic but delicious flavours.”
Danzka Apple is described as “polished with a long body”, offering notes of apple and liquorice with pepper and grassy undertones, and has been recommended for mixing in Appletinis by Behn.
“Appletinis are a standard part of drinks menus in bars around the world,” he added. “Danzka Apple is the natural choice to make a refreshing Appletini with simple but delicious flavours.
“Now there is a premium apple vodka to feature in a high quality Appletini.”
Bottled at 40% abv, Danzka Apple will go on sale on 1 January 2015.
