Spanish drinks company the Diego Zamora Group has appointed Matthew Turner as global brand director for its Licor 43 brand.
Matthew Turner has been appointed global brand director for Licor 43
Turner, formerly global brand controller for The Macallan single malt Scotch whisky, will take charge of all international marketing and innovation for the liqueur and will report directly to Thomas Clamens, managing director of Zamora International.
“This is a very exciting opportunity, Licor 43 is a wonderful brand with a clear vision of doubling volume in the next few years,” said Turner.
“I am joining the brand at a pivotal moment in its history and I look forward to proving a valuable asset in guiding Licor 43 along its journey and through the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.’’
Said to be the fastest growing premium liqueur brand in the world, Licor 43 revealed plans to double its production with a new €15m factory in June last year.
