Dennis Rodman says vodka could sooth relations with North Korea

Flamboyant former basketball star Dennis Rodman has said that he believes his vodka could bring US president Barack Obama and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un togetherThe retired basketball player claimed that his Original Bad Ass Premium Vodka, which launched earlier this month, could aid strained relations between the two nations.
Rodman told The Associated Press: “Everyone knows [Barack] Obama drinks beer. But you know what, I’m pretty sure he does have a cocktail here or there.
“I’d love to see him with a Bad Ass Vodka shot in his hand, toasting to Kim Jong [Un] and me. That would be awesome.”
Rodman, who has claimed an unofficial role of basketball ambassador to North Korea, was reported to have enjoyed a glass of his vodka with Kim Jong Un on a trip to North Korea earlier this year.
The former Chicago Bulls star said of his new endeavour into spirits production: “It’s funny, with all the things I’ve been doing, people ask me ‘what do you do?’
“I don’t do anything. I keep myself relevant and alive. I just want to go out there and make people happy. And what makes people happy? Drinking.”
