Bow Bar debuts East London-inspired menu
The cocktail bar at the Hilton London Metropole has created a cocktail list that brings ‘East London swagger to Edgware Road’.
The new menu is inspired by the London E3 postcode area, despite Bow Bar being based in W2. It aims to take guests on a journey through East London’s markets, music, history and neighbourhoods, with cocktails inspired by the likes of Columbia Road, Brick Lane and Dalston.
Cocktails include Berries in Bloom, a floral serve inspired by Columbia Road Flower Market. The cocktail blends Beefeater Gin, which has been infused with frozen raspberries, Edinburgh Raspberry Gin, citric shrub, and a sweet hibiscus and pepper foam.
The Coffee Exchange, meanwhile, nods to East London’s historic coffee houses through its combination of coffee-infused Edinburgh Gin, Campari and sweet vermouth.
Brick Lane After Dark combines butter-washed Martell VS Cognac, Dubonnet infused with cacao nibs and chocolate bitters.
The food menu spans sharing plates and comfort food, including crispy squid with charred lime and chipotle mayo; baked feta served with thyme honey and beetroot wafers; and a Yorkshire wagyu burger.
Earlier this month, fellow London bar Hakkasan created a cocktail list for its 25th anniversary.
