The two-month sales increase is compared to the same period in 2024 and 2025.

Sir Edmond attributes the success in Croatia to its strong partnership with the local distributor, Brza Distribucija. According to the distributor, this growth has been driven by expanded distribution and ongoing field activities, which include supporting existing customers, opening new accounts, and ensuring strong brand representation in the market.

Situated along the Adriatic Sea, the European country is currently experiencing its peak summer season.

Femke Gieselbach, commercial manager at Sir Edmond Gin, said: “Doubling our sales in two months shows the momentum Brza Distribucija is building in Croatia. Summer is a key window for us, and the team is making the most of it.”

Building on its positive momentum in Croatia, Sir Edmond has secured a partnership with wholesaler Metro, expanding its influence in the country’s hospitality sector.

Metro operates cash-and-carry stores for business members, targeting professional customers. The company has been active in Croatia since 2001 and currently runs around 10 wholesale centres in cities such as Zagreb, Split, Rijeka, and Zadar.

The wholesaler also supplies a significant portion of the country’s hospitality sector, including hotels, restaurants, bars, and caterers.

“Metro is one of the most important wholesale partners for the hospitality trade in Croatia, so this listing gives us real reach into the on-trade at the right time of year,” added Gieselbach. “It is a significant step for our distribution in the market.”

Sir Edmond was founded in 2016 and is made with six botanicals and infused with Bourbon vanilla sourced from La Réunion.

The performance in Croatia contributes to a broader international effort for the brand, which is now accessible in more than 25 markets across Europe, the Caribbean, and Asia.
