Berry Bros unveils 2026 Odyssey collection
This year’s annual collection from London-based retailer Berry Bros & Rudd explores the theme ‘the Auld and the Bold’ with 20 expressions.

The Auld and the Bold is said to celebrate the dialogue between Scotland’s whisky traditions and a new generation of distillers who are redefining the category globally.
The 2026 collection features a selection of 20 single cask whiskies, rums, and a Cognac from 20 different distilleries.
It is the latest chapter in Berry Bros’ Odyssey series, launched in 2024. The annual collection of single cask spirits brings together releases connected by a common influence.
Felix Dear, spirits curator at Berry Bros & Rudd, said: “For this year’s Odyssey collection, we wanted to explore the relationship between heritage and innovation. Scotch whisky remains the benchmark that has inspired generations of distillers, but some of the most exciting spirits being made today are emerging from places far beyond Scotland.
“The Auld and the Bold brings these worlds together, showcasing both the timeless qualities that define great whisky and the fresh perspectives that continue to push the category forward. Whether the spirit comes from Speyside, Tasmania, Yorkshire or New Zealand, what unites these bottlings is a commitment to character, craftsmanship and a strong sense of place.”
The Scottish lineup includes Glenlossie 1975, fruit-laden Glencadam 2011, Blair Athol 2011 finished in an unusual Viognier cask, and rich Sherry-influenced Longmorn 2011, Glen Garioch 2011, and Tamdhu 2008.
Whiskies from Caol Ila on the Isle of Skye, Williamson (Laphroaig) from Islay, and Ruadh Mhor (peated Glenturret) in the Highlands showcase the rich flavours of peat and smoke.
Beyond Scotland, the collection highlights a new generation of whisky makers who are influenced by Scotch traditions, ‘not yet shaped by their own landscapes and climates.’
Tasmania’s Lark 2016 shines through Tawny cask maturation. In India, Paul John 2015 combines Scottish peat with tropical ageing, while New Zealand’s Thomson 2017 showcases a unique Manuka-smoked character. England’s Spirit of Yorkshire exemplifies the evolution of English single malt whisky.
Denmark’s Thy 2016 and Finland’s Teerenpeli 2014 utilise traditional Scotch whisky-making techniques while adapting them to their local barley, climate, and maturation processes.
Three Caribbean rums have been added to the collection, showcasing the diversity of the category. The selection includes Foursquare 2011, known for its refined tropical character; Diamond 2003, which features a vibrant fruit profile; and the intense character of Caroni 1997 rum.
A 35-year-old early-landed Cognac from Frapin, which was distilled in France in 1990, matured in the UK, and bottled at natural cask strength, completes the chapter.
The 2026 Odyssey collection – The Auld and the Bold is now available from Berry Bros & Rudd, with prices ranging from £85 (US$114) for the Blair Athol and GlenWyvis to £1,500 (US$2,000) for the Glenlossie 1975.
All expressions are bottled at cask strength in 700ml bottles.
