Berry Bros & Rudd offers glimpse of new shop

Fine wine and spirits merchant Berry Bros & Rudd has provided a sneak peek into its forthcoming dedicated spirits shop, which will open in London in April 2024.

The company released a render previewing what the new shop will look like when it opens this spring.

The shop, which will be located at No. 1 St James’s Street in London, will connect to the Berry Bros’ wine shop at 63 Pall Mall.

This will double its retail space where consumers will have access to a curated selection of more than 900 fine spirits.

Berry Bros will also work closely with select distilleries to produce exclusive bottlings throughout the year, which will be available for visitors to purchase in-store.

“Following the opening of the Spirits Shop this spring, customers will also be invited to join events, having the chance to sample the world’s finest spirits through tastings and unique experiences.

“With fine spirits now having a dedicated home in our new shop, we’re excited to be expanding the range of fine wines available in our existing wine shop, making both shops the ultimate destination for lovers of fine wine and spirits.”

Berry Bros celebrated its 325th birthday last year, which it marked with anniversary releases such an exclusive Laphroaig 1999 whisky.

The new shop is designed for Berry Bros to showcase its increasing range of premium and ultra-premium spirits, and to extend its reputation as ‘one of the best and most trusted spirit and wine merchants, both for drinkers and collectors alike’.

The company is the UK’s oldest fine wine and spirits merchant, and was founded in 1698.
