Join SB for Tequila and cocktails in London
Agave spirits fans spread the word: The Spirits Business will host a Tequila masterclass for consumers later this month (July).
‘What to drink… Tequila’ will take place on 23 July at Chelsea Townhouse Garden Room in London from 6pm to 8pm.
Melita Kiely, award-winning editor-in-chief of The Spirits Business, will lead a guided tasting of five premium Tequilas from Altos, El Tequileño, El Cristiano, Kypros and Cazcabel.
From there, Silvano, head bartender at Chelsea Townhouse and 11 Cadogan Gardens, will take guests through a cocktail-making masterclass, allowing each ticket holder to create and enjoy Tequila-based cocktails using the five expressions from the tasting.
Kiely commented: “We know that Tequila and all things that go with it are incredibly popular right now, and for good reason. Our masterclass evening will help fans gain a better understanding of what Tequila is, the different styles and flavours available, and how to shake and stir cocktails like the pros at home.
