The Spirits Business Awards is a globally recognised celebration of the spirits and hospitality industry’s brightest brands and people.

Established in 2019, the awards focus on five core areas of the trade: Retail & Marketing, Sustainability & Innovation, Culture & Tourism, Products & Brands, and People.

For the first time, this year’s awards will also recognise Training Initiatives, ranging from advocacy programmes to mentorship schemes.

Furthermore, Bar of the Year has been divided into two regional categories, one specifically for the UK and a second for international venues.

Entries into all categories will be accepted until 26 June via The Spirits Business Awards website.

The winners will be crowned at a black-tie ceremony in London on 12 November at The Underglobe. Last year, comedian Rob Beckett presented the awards, following The Traitors host Claudia Winkleman, who announced the winners in 2024.

For those keen to enter, The Spirits Business recently published some important advice to consider when formulating an awards pitch. Important considerations to make in applications include specificity, not resting on industry reputation, and creativity.

Melita Kiely, editor-in-chief of The Spirits Business and chair of The Spirits Business Awards, said: “Each year, the standard of entries continues to grow, both in numbers and in the quality of submissions. It is a testament to the social status of the awards, but most importantly to the calibre of industry expertise we see around the world.

“There is still time to showcase your brand, company, bar, or team members, and put them forward to receive the recognition they deserve. I’m very much looking forward to seeing what this year’s entries bring during the judging process later this summer.”
