Corby promotes Pernod VP to CEO
By Nicola CarruthersPernod Ricard’s Canadian affiliate, Corby Spirit and Wine, has appointed Florence Tresarrieu as its new president and CEO.

Tresarrieu, Pernod Ricard’s global senior vice-president of investor relations, treasury, and cash performance, will take over the new role from Nicolas Krantz on 1 January 2026.
Before joining Pernod Ricard in 2019, Tresarrieu spent 18 years at investment banks JP Morgan and Barclays, where she advised major corporations on strategic and financial matters as managing director.
During her career, Tresarrieu has worked across markets such as the UK, Asia and France.
Lucio Di Clemente, chairman of Corby’s board of directors, welcomed the new CEO.
“With significant global financial and leadership experience, she will guide Corby into its next chapter, build on our strong foundation and drive continued momentum, growth, and innovation,” Di Clemente noted.
Tresarrieu has been appointed as a Corby director and Claude Boulay will resign from his role as a Corby director at the end of 2025 but continue as a Pernod Ricard consultant.
French native Krantz stepped into the CEO role in July 2020, after leading Pernod Ricard’s wine business in Spain.
During his five-year tenure, Krantz guided Corby through the challenges of the pandemic, strengthened the company’s portfolio strategy, and accelerated growth in the ready-to-drink (RTD) segment through acquisitions of Canadian brands Nude and Cottage Springs.
Corby said Krantz has helped the business enhance its brand portfolio, gain market share, and become a more agile, collaborative, and consumer-centric organisation.
He will remain on the board as a non-executive director and will support Tresarrieu’s transition into her new role in the coming months.
Di Clemente also thanked Krantz for his “leadership, unwavering commitment, and transformative vision during his time at Corby”.
He continued: “We thank Nicolas for the legacy he leaves behind, wish him continued success in his future endeavours and look forward to continuing to benefit from his insight and experience by staying on the Corby board.
“I’d also like to thank Claude for his 17 years of service on our board. His thoughtful perspectives and collaborative spirit helped guide Corby through key moments of growth and transformation, and we are truly grateful for the time, energy, and expertise he has shared with us.”
Based in Toronto, Ontario, Corby is the second-largest marketer and distributor for spirits and wines in Canada. The company is majority owned by Pernod Ricard, which distributes its products in the region.
Corby Spirit and Wine saw sales rise by 2% in the 12 months ending 30 June 2025 after double-digit gains for its RTD brands.
The company has also benefitted from the removal of American spirits from shelves across most Canadian provinces.
As Diageo plans the closure of its Crown Royal facility in Ontario, competitor Pernod Ricard is upping support of its own Canadian distillery in Windsor.
