New York Rum Fest returns to Brooklyn this June
The ninth edition of New York Rum Festival and Conference will feature more than 160 rums from around the world.
This year’s event will take place in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, on Saturday 7 July, offering a full slate of educational sessions and an array of rums.
Rum Fest will feature emerging new brands like Neon Silver from Japan, Zhumir from Ecuador, Bacan Guaro from Colombia, and E León Jimenes from the Dominican Republic. Other countries represented include Fiji, the Philippines, Australia, Réunion Island, Spain, Barbados, Venezuela, Martinique, Jamaica, and St Lucia.
A robust schedule of seminars kicks off with ‘History of Australian Rums’, while other sessions focus on Jamaican rum esters and female leadership in the sector.
After a pilot at the 2024 San Francisco Rum Fest, festival sponsor RumLab will bring DaiquiriMania to New York, bringing together rum aficionados, cocktail drinkers, and music lovers to celebrate the classic rum cocktail. The new programme will run from 5pm to 7pm EST.
A range of ticket options is available, offering networking opportunities with brand representatives, premium rum tastings, and trade-focused seminars.
The Trade Industry Session from 2pm to 3:30pm is aimed at professionals in the bar, restaurant, retail beer/spirits, and beverage media sectors.
The VIP Rum Experts Session, running from 1:30pm to 7pm, features early admission, an exclusive tasting cup, access to two VIP seminars, consumer seminars, and more.
