Katy Perry debuts ski-inspired cocktail

The St Moritz Mule is the first seasonal addition to the De Soi line of non-alcoholic aperitifs cocktails, created by singer Katy Perry.

The De Soi St Moritz Mule will roll out from 1 November

The St Moritz Mule reimagines the classic Moscow Mule, offering a sparkling, non-alcoholic option for ‘après-ski moments and winter-time get-togethers’. De Soi was founded by Perry and master distiller Morgan McLachlan in January 2022.

“The St Moritz Mule is winter in a glass,” Perry said. “We took the classic Moscow Mule vibe and gave it a cold-weather makeover. It’s like a festive little party for your tastebuds, and makes me want to hit the slopes. Whether you’re celebrating with friends or just kicking back after a busy day, it’s the perfect cosy sip for the season.”

The new canned cocktail pairs sweet and tart flavours of pomegranate and cranberry with the warming spice of ginger, and a fragrant hint of rosemary. The St Moritz Mule is gluten-free, non-GMO and contains no artificial colours or flavours.

The drink will be available in four-packs exclusively at Sprouts Farmers Market locations from 1 to 15 November, with expansion to other retailers and grocers through to February 2025 or while supplies last.

“St Moritz Mule is our first seasonal offering, inspired by the warmth and conviviality of an après-ski moment,” McLachlan said. “The seasonal flavours make for a fun and elegant tipple for winter months. I think of it as a classic refreshing Mule, but with a witchy wassail twist.”

To celebrate the skiing season, De Soi has partnered with Halfdays and Meier Skis for its ‘This Way to Après’ giveaway, which will run from 12 to 26 November. One winner will receive a prize pack valued at more than US$3,000, which includes a custom pair of De Soi x Meier skis, a Halfdays ski suit, an Ikon pass, and four-packs of the St Moritz Mule.

In June 2023, De Soi launched a product inspired by rosé wine, which joined the portfolio’s Golden Hour, Champignon Dreams, and Purple Lune serves.
