Teerenpeli teams up with Bemakers

Finland’s oldest single malt distillery, Teerenpeli, has partnered with Danish spirits distributor Bemakers.

Teerenpeli was founded in the Finnish city of Lahti in 2002

Established in 2002, family-owned Teerenpeli distillery is based in Lahti and is one of the oldest Nordic single malt producers.

The distillery is known for its innovative approach, sustainable practices, and range of single malt whiskies made with 100% Finnish barley.

Teerenpeli offers expressions such as Sherry cask-matured Kaski, seven-year-old Sherry cask-matured Kulo, Savu peated single malt and a flagship 10-year-old whisky aged in Bourbon barrels and Sherry casks.

As Teerenpeli expands into new markets across Europe, Bemakers will help support the brand’s journey and introduce its products to whisky enthusiasts across the continent.

Veera Pastinen, sales and marketing manager of Teerenpeli Brewery and Distillery, said: “We are excited to join Bemakers and enter new B2B [business-to-business] and B2C [business-to-consumer] markets with e-commerce in Europe. Our first new markets will be Denmark, Norway, and the Netherlands, with more to follow by the end of the year.

“We look forward to the opportunity to share our award-winning premium single malt whiskies with European whisky lovers and business owners and to list our products on Bemakers Trade and through our webshop.”

The Finnish distiller joins the distributor’s portfolio, which includes producers and brands, such as Radico Khaitan, Ube Cream liqueur, Vetz apéritif and Luchino vodka.

Last month, Bemakers appointed Søren Krogh as director of global brand advisory to elevate trade and advisory services.
