Eminente partners with Kip Hideaways

Cuban rum Eminente has teamed up with boutique rentals specialist Kip Hideaways to create a branded cabin experience.

Eminente Kip Hideaways
The Essex Hideaway will run until the end of October

Located a few miles outside of London, Cabin Eminente will aim to bring a slice of Cuba to consumers looking for a mini getaway this autumn.

Max Helm, Eminente UK market manager, said: “We are delighted to partner with Kip Hideaways to showcase the Cuban lifestyle and hidden side of the island that Eminente is inspired by.

“The Eminente shepherd’s hut offers a special intimate and memorable experience for those who love to explore the outdoors and relax, whilst really savouring the quality and refinement that a great drink and the Cuban lifestyle associated with it can bring.”

The experience offers guests the chance to create rum cocktails, and also includes a traditional game of Dominoes, said to be popular in Cuba.

The décor has been chosen to represent the rum brand and ‘a sense of Cuba’.

The Eminente Essex Shepherd’s hut experience is available to book for two nights, starting from £350 (US$388) plus a £17 (US$19) Kip membership fee.

Last year, SB spoke to Cesár Martí, Cuba’s youngest maestro ronero (master rum distiller), about the inspiration behind the rum, and the challenges facing the industry.

Owned by Moët Hennessy, the wine and spirits arm of luxury goods company LVMH, Eminente was established by Camille de Dominicis, co-founder and brand director, and Briac Dessertenne, co-founder, and sales and operations director.
