Tomatin unveils 1975 single malt whisky
Highland distillery Tomatin has released the third limited edition single malt whisky in its Warehouse 6 Collection – the 1975 edition.

The 1975 Warehouse 6 Collection was distilled on 8 December 1975 and aged in an oloroso Sherry butt, cask number 35834.
Limited to 300 bottles, the 43-year-old Scotch whisky is bottled at 46.5% abv.
Graham Eunson, distillery manager at Tomatin, said: “The 1975 Warehouse 6 Collection provides a perfect harmony of tropical and dried fruits, dark chocolate and warm spicy notes balanced with the complex background aromas created by decades of slow oxidation in its unique warehouse locale before a long and elegant finish.”
The whisky is bottled in a hand-blown Glencairn crystal decanter, contained inside a presentation case that is fitted with an opening mechanism comprising two metal buttons. It also comes with two whisky glasses, a solid copper stopper and a numbered certificate.
The expression follows the launch of the 1972 edition in 2017 and the 1971 edition in 2016.
The 1975 Warehouse 6 Collection is expected to retail for £2,400 (US$3,157) in the UK for a 700ml bottle, and is available to purchase from specialist retailers worldwide.
