Diageo GTME appoints two new senior execs

Dayalan Nayager and Zeina Hatem have been appointed regional director Diageo GTME Europe and Middle East and North Africa, respectivelyDoug Bagley, managing director of Diageo Global Travel and Middle East (GTME) has appointed Dayalan Nayager as regional director, GTME Europe, and Zeina Hatem as regional director, Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Based in London, Nayager will take up his new post on 1 July and will be tasked with managing all travel retail channels for the drinks firm in Europe.
He was formerly commercial director of Brandhouse in South Africa and has more than 12 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, having previously held positions for Mars and Heinz in Africa.
Hatem will start her new position on 16 July be based in Dubai in which she will be responsible for leading Diageo’s business within the travel retail and domestic channels, as well as Free Trade Zones across MENA.
Currently, Hatem woks as general manager of innovation for Latin America and the Caribbean for Diageo, but boasts 15 years of experience in the FMCG industry including marketing director for Moet Hennessy Diageo France.
