Van Gogh Imports moves under Sazerac umbrella
By Amy HopkinsUS-based Van Gogh Imports has changed its company name to 375 Park Avenue Spirits as it becomes a fully integrated sales company within Sazerac.
Van Gogh Imports, now called 375 Park Avenue Spirits, has joined Sazerac’s sales umbrellaThe agreement, which will come into effect on 1 March, will allow Park Avenue’s Van Gogh vodka, TAP whisky, Molinari, Limoncello di Capri, Ron Abuelo and Jumbie brands to develop at an “accelerated rate”.
The group has worked with Sazerac over the past year under its SLS logistics division but is now seeking an “enhanced relationship”.
Norman Bonchick, chairman and CEO of 375 Park Avenue Spirits, said the company had decided to change its name to “reflect its fast growing nature” and “diversified portfolio”.
Meanwhile, Mark Brown, CEO of Sazerac, said Park Avenue’s portfolio could benefit from the group’s “full array of resources”.
“Additionally, with the growth of our own business and portfolio, the need for expanded sales capabilities, as well as the opportunity to provide brand owners with a full service option in the difficult US market, we believe that the venture can be very successful,” Brown added.
